Pinhole Body Cap (2)

October 20, 2010

Above photo of the change sheds at Palm Beach, late September, 0.3 sec at ISO 200

Below was the same day 0.5 sec at ISO 800 to give me a chance of hand holding without too much shake. The aperture is about f/180 at 50mm. It has let some dust into the body & onto the sensor, probably coming from the inside of the body cap as I taped over the pinhole. This pinhole is a bit rough as the brass shim I used was rather thick at 0.01 inches sand therefore I had to hammer the needle tip through it. I now have thinner sheets at 0.03 and 0.02 that are easier to make more precise holes in. Soon I’ll make a new one and do some comparison photos.
